The Honey Ant Readers and Reading Tracks are unique and innovative learn-to-read books with supplementary resources.

Developed with the support of traditional Elders, they make learning for Australian Indigenous learners relevant, meaningful, engaging and fun.

Helping to teach reading and writing in the context of Indigenous culture, building on familiar language. Print literacy learning theories are integrated with Indigenous culture - the result of a collaboration between Indigenous Elders and non-Indigenous educators.

Many members of the Indigenous community - Elders, adults, children and teachers have contributed to the making of the Honey Ant Readers over the years.

All Honey Ant Readers' stories and illustrations are approved by Elders before being printed.
