Collins Big Cat is a guided reading series for ages 4--7 edited by Cliff Moon. A combination of artwork and photographs show children some of the things they might see in a circus, such as clowns and acrobats. Each left hand page features artwork and text, while the right hand page shows a clear photograph of the performer in action. A final double page spread features artwork of all the performers to help children recap. Pink B (Band 1B) books offer emergent readers simple, predictable text with familiar objects and actions.
