Big Cat for Little Wandle Fluency has been developed in collaboration with Wandle Learning Trust and Little Sutton Primary School. It consists of a range of chapter books with increasing word counts across 15 fluency levels aimed at children in Years 2-4. Each book builds reading confidence, stamina and speed and nurtures a love for reading. Fluency 13 books have a word count of 6720 words with an expected reading rate of 140 words per minute. In the midst of the Second World War, there is a call for all boys to help collect scrap metal for the war effort. Peggy decides it shouldn't just be boys, so she and her friend Jed head off as well. However, when they discover some hidden treasure that's well-protected, things take an unexpected turn.
