Nicholas Wolterstorff is Noah Porter Professor Emeritus of Philosophical Theology at Yale University. Before going to Yale he taught philosophy at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, for thirty years. Gloria Goris Stronks (1936-2021) was professor of education at Calvin College, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her other books include Teaching to Justice, Citizenship, and Civic Virtue: The Character of a High School Through the Eyes of Faith, which she coauthored with her daughter, Julia K. Stronks.
