A songbook to support the first steps in phonics through songs, chants and games, ideal for use alongside Letters and Sounds, the new Primary National Strategy phonics programme for 3-7 year olds. Singing Phonics is a song collection for 3-5 year olds, specially designed to support the earliest steps in phonics teaching and enrich young children's experience of language in a fun and interactive way. Includes a range of songs, chants and games, all designed to increase phonics awareness. Each song comes with activities (including photocopiable resources) and ideas for further development. Ideal for use with the new phonics programme, Letters and Sounds, published by the Primary National Strategy, but will also be a highly useful addition to any phonics scheme.
