Modern Cognitive Psychology

Psychology has long struggled with the gap between theoretical models and the practical efficacy of their approaches in psychotherapy. Despite its evidence-based reputation, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), for instance, has not consistently delivered on its promise of universal therapeutic success, particularly in addressing transdiagnostic challenges. At the same time, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)-- a field grounded in the modeling of human excellence and problem resolution-- has offered innovative and highly effective interventions. However, historically, these interventions have lacked scientific validation, leaving them underutilized. This timely book explains, advocates and illustrates the powerful impact NLP techniques and protocols can have when combined with CBT . In so doing, it bridges the divide between traditional therapy and NLP and offers a science-based framework to integrate NLP into evidence-based psychology. It is grounded in rigorous research and explains how NLP can be an empirically supported therapeutic tool that complements modern psychology. It also explores new transdiagnostic treatments and rapid, long-lasting clinical interventions.
