Daisy Hawkins specialises in books for children who don't like and/or struggle with reading. After completing a BA in English Literature at the University of Southampton, she began a successful career in publishing alongside her own writing. To date she has had over 20 books published, most of which are fully decodable phonics titles. The phonics pedagogy is a particular specialism of hers, and one that she has helped to train people on around the world.
