Who we are
Lioncrest Education was founded in 1991 with the goal to provide the best literacy resources. Our team of educational consultants provide literacy solutions for primary schools throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Lioncrest Education has a proven background of distributing leading educational resources, including Literacy Programs, with decodables and guided reading being our key focus. We also carry quality resources for STEM, Wellbeing, Special Needs, Humanities, Comprehension, Take Home Packs Library, Maths, Music titles, plus lots more.
Our professional team of Educational Consultants are available to guide teachers and assist them to choose the very best resources for their needs.
Our high-quality products come from prestige agencies including Harper Collins, Macmillan, Rising Stars/Hodder Education, Capstone Global/Raintree, Ruby Tuesday, Creative Teaching Press, Feel Brave, and Clean Slate Press.
Lioncrest Education’s extensive range of high-quality products are sold in and around Australia and New Zealand and are used by teachers and children – preschool, kindergarten, primary, and middle-school and their families and up to secondary school.
Terry Hughes OAM; Terry has always worked in the area of publishing and has specialised in children’s education; he was recently awarded the Order of Australia Medal for his services, particularly in the education sector. Terry was born in Auckland, New Zealand where he established Ashtons Scholastic; he then set up Scholastic in Australia too where he worked for 20 years before moving to Scholastic, New York.
Carol Hughes: Carol has worked in the field of publishing and marketing in Australia and ran her own Public Relations, TV Production and Marketing company, Lineup, for 15 years.
